Inauguration of the Center and Library for the Bible and Social Justice, Oct 22-23 at Stony Point Center, NY

One of our projects over the last 3 years has been to help pioneering biblical scholars Norman Gottwald, Jack Elliott and Herman Waetjen establish an alternative library to hold their world class collections, one that would be accessible to activists as well as academics.  This effort is coming to fruition next month with the inauguration of the Center and Library for the Bible and Social Justice, which will take place Saturday and Sunday, Oct 22-23, at Stony Point Center, NY.  If you are in the northeast, please stop on by; information and registration can be found on the Stony Point website.  Click on the PDF flyer below for the schedule and line up.  You can support and follow the Center and Library here.  Congratulations to all the volunteers who have made this dream a reality!
