Dr Randy WoodleyThis webinar will commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the 1992 worldwide protests, explore the legacy of Indigenous activism that arose in its wake.  Cherokee scholar and activist Woodley is Professor of Faith and Culture and Director of Intercultural and Indigenous Studies at Portland Seminary.  He’ll talk about his book Shalom and the Community of Creation: An Indigenous Vision (Eerdmans, 2012), as well as about a recent theological statement condemning White Supremacy he helped draft.  Then Ched will share about the impact of the Quincentenary on his work, and Elaine about her efforts to nurture Settler Response-ability and Restorative Solidarity.
